A Square Enix divulgou um novo trailer de Final Fantasy 16 durante a feira Pax East neste sábado, desta vez dedicado aos cenários do mundo de Valisthea.
O trailer mostra cenas do protagonista Clive olhando para um desfiladeiro com uma enorme cachoeira, andando de Chocobo por um deserto, adentrando o que parece ser um dungeon e explorando uma caverna onde corre lava incandescente.
Apesar de mostrar cenários amplos, Final Fantasy 16 não terá um mundo aberto, mas sim algo como um mundo semi-aberto, formado por grandes áreas segmentadas. Segundo o diretor Hiroshi Takai, o mundo de Final Fantasy 16 é construído a partir de vários mapas, com quatro zonas de grande escala com “cerca de dois quilômetros quadrados”.
Os jogadores poderão viajar instantaneamente para essas áreas de Valisthea através do mapa, e ao completar o objetivo principal voltarão para a área central chamada Hideaway.
Final Fantasy XVI será lançado para o PlayStation 5 em 22 de junho.
